"Playing his first show in 5 months, Beck came by from the studio and performed a small solo set for a packed crowd at the tail end of the benefit for the Los Feliz Mission at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles.

Beck stomped out some old favorites, along with the Korgis cover "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime" which just appeared in Michel Gondry's "Eternal Sunshine" film, and a rousing version of the Kinks "Nothing In This World Can Stop Me Worrying About That Girl" with some audience members on shakers and tambourines. He ended the set with a dozen audience members onstage dancing through a "Hollywood Freaks" jam. "
