Dearest Massmail-members,

As you might have noticed, we have got no upcoming shows.
This is no coincidence.
After 5 years of this beautiful mess we decided to take a break.
At this point we don't know for how long.
We released 2 albums and did a fair amount of performances.
We have met a lot of beautiful people.
We have played with inspiring bands.
We have had the opportunity to play some great places.
To drive some long distances.
This is no masterplan.
This is no strategic sabbatical.
It's just life.
We plan to pick up unfinished studies and decent jobs again.
In order to do that we had to make some responsible choices.
And this is one of them.
No, it's not an easy step.
We love music.
We wanted to make this band work more than anything.
But not at all costs.
There is more to life than being in a band.
How extremely simple and uninteresting that may sound.
Don't expect us to quit.
Don't expect anything.
We're still involved in other bands.
We will continue making music.
The last couple of shows have been nothing less than wonderful.
This band has been and always will be a band of friends.
We know we're going to miss it.
It's the music of our hearts.
It's what kept us going.
We want to thank you for coming out to our shows.
For buying and listening to our music.
For telling your friends.
For emailing us.
Thank you for your support.
It means a great deal.
We'll meet again.
