Beck to Issue Three Versions of New Album
Filter cover artist Beck has decided to combat internet leaks by issuing three separate versions of his long-awaited follow-up to 2002's Sea Change.
Guero, produced by The Dust Brothers and due March 29 on Interscope, will be issued in standard CD format; as an expanded LP containing four remixes by the likes of Boards Of Canada, Octet, Dizzee Rascal and Royksopp, and as a two-disc collection featuring music videos for the tracks E-Pro and Black Tambourine and a 5.1 audio mix.
Beck issued the Hell Yes EP exclusively to iTunes on February 1st, including remixes of the title track and Que Onda Guero by 8-bit and E-Pro and Girl by Paza. The music video for Hell Yes directed by Mumbleboy is also available on iTunes.
While Beck has previewed his album at four recent surprise Los Angeles club appearances, no tour dates have been issued at the moment.
